No SD in the MMI insert !!!

  1. Unpack the downloaded file and copy it directly to the root of the SD

  2. Start up the MMI, wait 2-3 minutes (it's important to wait, otherwise it will not start the script!)

  3. Insert SD in slot 1

  4. Now should automatically open an Audi image with the message "Rotate switch to Hidden Menu activation to start!", The message should then disappear immediately.

  5. Now a message should come again "Done! MMI please reboot!"

  6. Restart the MMI with monkey handle (MENU + rotary button + upper right softkey). With the MMI 3GP of the Audi A1 + Q3, restarting only works with "TONE + rotary switch + upper right function key"

Done, then the Hidden Menu should be free!

  1. The hidden menu is opened with:

"Setup + Car" or 3GP with "Car + Menu"

only A8 L:

  1. Enter in green menu (CAR + BACK) in FRONT unit; Restart. (BIG KNOB + UPPER RIGHT + TONE)
  2. Enter in green menu (MENU + RADIO) in REAR unit; Restart (BIG KNOB + UPPER RIGHT + MENU) (FW, Map Updates + Activation, etc. are to be carried out with two SD-Cards in parallel for both units)

Where you have to press Setup, Menu or Car first, and the whole should be kept pressed at least 5sec!
