Alex Puccio Training

Plan

  • 6 training sessions per week
  • Rest one day a week (Sunday)
  • Wednesday no climbing, just running and light core session

Running

  • 4-5 times a week
  • Distance: 3-4 miles
  • Pace: start 6.5 mph, finishg 8.5 mph

Core

  • 3-5 times a week
  • Circuit (5 rounds, rest 5 min between rounds, no rest between exercises)
  • Circuit example
    • 40 bicycles
    • 1 min plank
    • 15 push ups
    • 40 V-ups
    • 20 box jumps

Bodyweight

  • Do not loose body weight aiming to gain power.
  • Gain all the muscle that you need to be powerful.
  • Know your peak performance body weight, aim for it once you developed muscle and power.
