Azure at SFU

Introduction

The general process for SFU users to get Azure access is:

  1. sign up for an Office 365 account using the SFU email address;
  2. andn use that same account to sign up for Azure.

The benefit of taking this route are:

  1. No need to create a separate Microsoft account. (Your SFU email address is already one.)
  2. No need to supply a credit card.

These are the steps that have worked in the past (e.g., last term). Note that the setup do change slowly over time so there may be some minor deviations.

  1. sign up for a free Office 365 account using your @sfu.ca email address here: http://www.sfu.ca/~msoff365
  2. use this same SFU (Microsoft) account to login to Microsoft Azure here: https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching

If you need to reset your password repeat step 1
