Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to work with our Agent and Customer business, with a broad technical background, a solid understanding of the software development and planning process, and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. We are all on this together, so excellent time-management skills, and practices of effective communication style are a plus. As a member of an early-stage company, this person should be excited about building and growing a small company, making decisions with significant impact, and keeping a laser focus on our Salesforce implementation and codebases. You will be exposed to the latest technology and data-driven culture, surrounded by a friendly, helpful team.

This role of Salesforce Software Engineer is 100% remote with monthly. This role reports to the Director of Engineering, Agent experience.

You will

  • Setup workflows and architecture within Salesforce
  • Ensure seamless 2-way integration with our data pipeline from Salesforce
  • Develop Salesforce components and apply UI/UX changes
  • Manage Salesforce profiles and roles
  • Collaborate across the organization and form partnerships with Agent and Customer experience, DevOps, and Data teams
  • Partner with talented software engineers and be part of a diverse, trusting, inclusive, and productive team culture
  • Maintain direct communication with stakeholders to understand needs throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Work with the engineering team to execute timely and cost-effective solutions. Provide ongoing support and maintenance as needed

What you bring

  • 4+ years of experience building applications natively on the Salesforce platform (Lightning Components, Apex, and Visualforce)
  • Experience creating custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers within the Salesforce platform
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce technology and implementations.
  • Understanding of building production-ready web applications and systems
  • A firm grasp of data sets, data structures, and data modeling with the ability to recognize areas in need of process improvement and provide solutions
  • GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Serverless are a plus

We are building out a next-generation Tech Security team that is focused on creating scalable solutions for a rapidly growing organization. As a manager, you will have an enormous opportunity to hire a team of top-notch security engineers and drive down systemic and tactical security risks while innovating to scale our detection/prevention mechanisms to keep up with the rapid pace of innovation.   • Collaborate across the organization and form strong partnerships with the agent, customer experience, DevOps, data, IT, risk, and operations teams
  • Recruiting, coaching, and scaling a team of world-class security engineers, providing strategic and tactical oversight to the team and the program.
  • Be the voice of Tech for the Security business unit, reporting directly to the SVP, Engineering of RealSure
  • Maintain stability and security of our customer products while allowing room for growth, invention, and learning
  • Work closely with your counterparts in Product, Risk, Operations, and Leadership to develop a services security roadmap and ensure that objectives are focused on areas of critical concerns for internal and external RealSure customers, and then provide technical oversight for all phases of the software security lifecycle

  • 5+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of hands-on Secure software development experience

You will

  • Review architecture and provide feedback before development begins
  • Work closely with product and development teams to review features, identify test cases and align on regression strategy
  • Perform QA including regression testing, system testing, and black box testing of new applications and enhancements of existing applications
