Project two paired DTR memo

Project:

Intention Timer

Group Member Names:

Johnny Cassidy and Noah Gambee

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

Succes in implementing technical skills that we are currently learning. Successfully utilizing git workflow between multiple people on one project. If we meet as many guidelines as possible and show confidence and understanding in our code. Learning how to combine individualistic working styles into a successful collaboration.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here):

Good at meeting deadlines and working independantly.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

We both seek to understand problems and why they are happening so that we can avoid future problems.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

Staying over an hour and possibly coming in early if agreed upon. We can both meet remotely in the evenings.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):

Slack is a great line of communication. We have each others phone numbers if someone needs to reach the other urgently. Important and issues or concerns or if an appointment needs to be missed.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

Noah would like to work on CSS and Johnny would like to work on JS to try and get a better understanding of each.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

We would like to both work on each aspect because we are still learning. We also hope to be able to provide feedback and grow our project.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

It will be interesting to see how well we work. We have never used git workflow with a partner.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

Respond to changes made as a way of acknowledging that we have reviewed changes. Speak concisely and respectfully.

Project management tools we will use (GitHub projects or Trello are popular tools):

GitHub and Slack.

Day 1 Agenda:

Wireframe and work on HTML and CSS skeletons to get a framework. Additional Notes:
