My Imaginary tech startup

Manifesto

  • Everything is committed to a central git powered repository. This includes everything from documents, graphics, invoices.
  • Every document, from Proposal to Solution Design, Deployment docs should be Markdown.
  • Every new employee, will go through the company workflow at the time of joining.
  • No email should be directed to a person. Tag the person in email, but email should be sent to the proj. management system ( basecamp/alternatives)

Todo

  • Have unit tests/document to capture why this workflow matters. And document the problems it solves with benefits.

Feedback

  • Follow the rules for a decent time before suggesting changes.
  • If you suggest changes, explain the use cases. And it should not break any of the current workflow/benefits.
