just in case anyone else gets to your page,
urwid==0.9.9.1
made this go away. even though setup.py for mitm@tag v0.8 hasinstall_requires=['urwid>=1.0', 'pyasn1', 'pyopenssl>=0.12', "PIL", "lxml"],
