Fixed monthly expenses

£1 is roughly $1.70 for any nosey types

  • Mortgage - £510
  • Water - £36
  • TV license - £12
  • Electricity and gas - £74
  • Home insurance - £28
  • Satellite / Sky TV - £38
  • Google Music - £10
  • Broadband - £44
  • Wife’s mobile - £22
  • My mobile - £17
  • Contact lenses - £16 (cancel soon)
  • Council tax - £94
  • Netflix - £6
  • Xbox Live - £5 (cancel this!)
  • Spotify - £5 (student rate, woo!)
  • Gym / country club (family) - £116

.. wife pays for all groceries, children’s activities, clothes, etc. from her own salary

Monthly approximates (mostly annual or varying wildly)

  • Car fuel (both cars) - £300
  • Wife’s car insurance - £50
  • My car insurance - £22
  • Wife’s car tax - £41
  • My car tax - £18
  • Wife’s car servicing - £30
  • My car servicing - £20
  • MSc tutorial fees - £230
  • Life insurance - £..can’t find..

Self-employed business (not Cooper Press)
