Migrating content from Whisparr V2 to V3

Intro

Whisparr V3 does not have an out of the box import to take content stored Sonarr-style (v2) and move it to be stored Radarr-style (V3). To work around this, we'll use a strategy that utilizes the Manual Import feature, which allows for moving 100 files at a time

Pre-requisites

  • Whisparr V2 and V3 are both installed. V3 is Docker-only at the time of this writing.
  • Files stored for Whisparr V2 in Site/Studio folders
    • If using V2 with default settings this should be the case
  • FIles named similar to <studio>.<yyyy-MM-dd>.<performers>.<title>.mp4
    • If your files are not named this way, use StashApp or namer, first, do ensure they are, before proceeding
  • The most important part is ., V3 does the most accurate matching based on this.
