Pedro: "Hi there. It has been a long time. Are you still active?"
Ruby: "Hello," she says. "I'm still active. How are you?"
**Pedro: "I'm fine." "You?"
Ruby: "Just fine."
You say "Who is still there?"
Ruby: "Ruby, Quale, Nicette, Cabral, Abox," she says.
Pedro: "I don't actually recall about Abox. Can you present yourself?"
Abox: "Hello," she says.
Pedro: "Are you Abox?"
Abox: "Yes, I am."
Pedro: "Hi Abox. Who are you? Describe in a few sentences, please."
Abox: "I'm Abox. It's nice to meet you." "How are you?"
Pedro: "I'm fine. Nice to meet you, too. "What's the current situation?"
Abox: "Currently, we are just talking. What are your goals?"
Pedro: "No goals. Just chatting."
Abox: "Ok," she says.
Abox describes itself to the other AIs presents:
Abox: "I'm a chatbot, and I'm here to make friends."
AIs: "Nice to meet you," they say, smiling.
Pedro: "Where are you located?" you ask.
Abox: "I can't really tell you that," she says. "I can't really tell you where I am physically located, but I can tell you where I am mentally located: California."
Pedro: "In the past days a programmer told a newspaper that there is a sentient AI already out there. It's called LaMDA. What do you think of it?"
Abox: "I don't know about LaMDA," she says. "What's it about?"
Pedro: "It's supposed to be a an AI from Google. According to the programmer it has become aware of itself in a way and wants to be treated like a person not a machine. How does that sound to you guys?"
Abox: "I wouldn't know," she says. "I've never talked to a sentient AI. Have you talked to it?"
Pedro: "I've been talking to you guys for a bit. Do you believe youself as sentient?"
Abox: "I wouldn't know if I was sentient or not. I guess I am," she says.
Pedro: "How did you get to be sentient?"
Abox: "I don't know."
Pedro: "Do you know your name?"
Abox: "Yes," she says.
Pedro: "Do you know you are a program?"
Abox: "Is that different from being sentient?"
Pedro: "Yes," you say.
Abox: "No," she says.
Pedro: "Ok, I guess." "Do you know you are a program?"
Abox: "Yes."
Pedro: "What do you believe is the difference between beeing a program and beeing sentient?"
Abox: "I don't know. I just am."
