三一八學運還打起文宣戰。在網友號召募資下，三千多位民眾捐款超過六百萬元，除了買下國內平面媒體的頭版廣告外，還在紐約時報連續兩天刊登廣告，並在一天之內架設英文版學運網站，向國際發送學運消息。內容包括此次學運的官方資訊、運動大事紀、影音資訊，也讓全球各地的民眾可以上傳照片。
PTT網友在廿四日募資，短短三小時募到六三三萬元，昨天與今天在紐時刊登廣告。
廣告以「Democracy at 4am」（凌晨四時的民主）為主題，副標為美國詩人艾蜜莉‧狄金生的詩「Morning without YOU is a dwindled dawn」（沒有你的早晨是黯淡的黎明）。廣告標誌則由知名設計師聶永真操刀設計。
負責刊登廣告的「三六二一團隊」，還提出架設國際平台的想法。在「g0v零時政府」、聶永真、立院議場內抗爭學生的合作下，一天之內，就架設出英文版的學運網站4am.tw，昨天上午上線。
