TEKSI Wastewater module is provided and maintained by the TEKSI community, a non profit swiss association set up to support open source professional GIS projects aiming to ease the management of public infrastructures.
TEKSI Wastewater Module is an open source project sponsored by engineering offices and communities to provide some tools to manage wastewater networks and water/wastewater evacuation plans. Water/wastewater evacuation plans (swiss PGEE - GEP) are essential tools in Switzerland (legal and strategic tools). It is based on a QGIS / Postgis solution. It was initially a project of the Swiss QGIS User Group and called QGEP project.
