"general": "Friday, October 3rd Language Arts: In this short week, we completed a quiz on simple and complete subjects and predicates. We will continue to work on these concepts until they are mastered. Next week we will move on to the four types of sentences - declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. We also focused on writing our best responses to the second vocabulary reading - 'Up, Up and Away' - a look at the hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque New Mexico. Spelling Quiz: (Friday, October 10th) bacon, paper, minus, baby, item, purple, eagle, candle, table, puzzle Vocabulary Lesson 3: (Quiz - Wednesday, October 17th) ambition, auction, coast, current, frail, intelligent, novel, resident, starve, volunteer. Math: In math, we began to consolidate our learning in our interactive math notebooks. We also got started on our Subtraction unit which will we quiz at the end of next week. Bible: This week we discussed the final six Commandments. Next week we will study some of Go |
