OSM navigation map helps in detecting turn restrictions and their absolute postions using Mapillary. These were a few turn restrictions that we came across while doing an initial research on the number of restrictions that are present and the ones that could be possibly be added.

Here are a few cases we found restrictions that could be added. To the best of our knowledge and the sources we used to verify: Mapillary, checking for already present relations in JOSM, these are the few that are valid and can be mapped on OpenStreetMap. We look forward to feedback about these restrictions and whether they are correct or not.

Case 3: screenshot 2016-08-17 16 23 13 Link to the map This is a residential road which was under construction. There is a recent change made by adding two nodes that is in 2016. But the Mapillary imagery which was taken in March 2015 shows that road is valid. So this turn restriction is valid. Unless it is a temporary one which it doesn’t look like.
