[Scene: A courtroom in the land of Crypto, where Binance, the mighty exchange, stands before the SEC, the regulator supreme]

SEC:
Hail Binance, thou art brought before us today,
On charges of selling securities astray.
'Tis said thou hast a token called BUSD,
That's sold and traded on thy platform, thus deemed.

Binance:
Hail SEC, thou regulator of high renown,
Thou bringeth charges that we must rebut and avow.
BUSD is not a security, this we declare,
'Tis merely a stablecoin, beyond all compare.

SEC:
Fie, Binance, thy words ring hollow in our ear,
For BUSD is tied to the US dollar, so we hear.
And if the dollar should falter, so shall it,
Therefore 'tis a security, that much is fit.

Binance:
Nay, good SEC, thou dost not understand,
BUSD is a bridge to cross the crypto land.
A stable means of exchange, 'twill always be,
Not a security, that much we guarantee.

SEC:
We shall see, Binance, we shall see,
For the law is clear, and the truth shall set thee free.
If BUSD is indeed a security, as we contend,
Then thou shalt face consequences, to their very end.

[Enter the jury, a group of wise and learned judges]

Jury:
Good SEC, and Binance, we have heard thee both,
And now must reach a verdict, before we take our troth.
[They confer among themselves for a moment]
We find BUSD to be a stablecoin, not a security,
And Binance is innocent, for all posterity.

SEC:
Alack and alas, we stand corrected, 'tis true,
BUSD is a stablecoin, through and through.
We shall withdraw our charges, and bid thee farewell,
And may thy platform prosper, and all Crypto dwell.

Binance:
Thank thee, kind jury, for thy wise decree,
And we shall continue to serve the Crypto community.
For as the market shifts, and the winds do change,
Binance shall endure, and Crypto shall remain.
