Well, if you scrap the bulk of the bible and everything else and look at the 10 commandments, you actually have something solid to work with. But lets take the religion out of it?
Don't worship false idols: people are people, things are things and they do not deserve to be put on a pedestal for being rich or famous etc. Don't be an asshole towards people. Take time to rest and reflect. Respect those that come before you - parents, grand parents, teachers and the like. Don't kill people. Don't take other people's belongings. Don't lie, especially about the actions of other people. Respect your partner, respect the relationships of other people. Be gracious, and seriously - don't take other people's stuff. The rest of religion? It has a history of being exploited to make a certain subset of people wealthy or elevate their influence in society far beyond what is reasonable. But the fundamental message - the commandments, those have a pretty good underlying message.
I’d throw in Jesus’s “love others as you love yourself” Honestly, most of what he says is super chill before it gets warped by religious folk with an agenda. Part of Jesus' ministry was to save the ancient Jews from the religious folks (Pharisees) who had twisted religion into their money cow and power seats, implementing ridiculously costly/labour-intensive laws on the people.
The verse "come to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light" is used for devotional/meditative purposes these days, but what Jesus was really talking about was something like this: "are you tired of the burdens of religion? have these priests troubled you enough? follow my ways, a relationship with God is supposed to be simple."
