Record your screencasts as movie files (.mov) using quicktime.

Build ffmpeg

1. Install yasm http://yasm.tortall.net/Download.html
2. Install libvpx https://code.google.com/p/webm/downloads/list
3. Install https://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html

• Add the libvpx flag: ./configure --enable-libvpx

Convert .mov files to .webm with ffmpeg

ffmpeg -i cast.mov cast.webm

cd filename
./configure
make
make install
