- The signature item (if the restaurants signature item is crap...run)
- Chef’s or wait-staffs favorite
- The last thing the previous table ordered
- Ask for the freshest ingredients

How to choose a restaurant?
- Ask the local librarian (or other person who may have lived in the area for a long time)
- Ask a butcher, cashier, bagger at the grocery store
- Ask a random stranger
- Your mechanic, hair stylist, whatever

How to search the interweb?
- Google for work
- DuckDuckGo for everything else, click below the fold, page 2

How to find out about current events?
- Ask friends who stay current, ask for their point of view, and how they came to that understanding
- Repeat for random strangers at Starbucks. Put judgment aside and just listen. Don’t respond with your own opinion or leading questions.

How to decide on gift giving?
- Ask parents, teachers, strangers
- Go to a particular store and ask for recommendations

Local Directions?
- Find your local AAA and buy a dang map, memorize my streets
- Leave the home with enough time to get lost
- Never choose the same route twice in a row

What about phone usage?
- Use for communication
- Not to be used as a distraction from boredom

What about important phone numbers?
- Memorize my immediate families phones, eliminate the contact is need be, or put the number as the first name of the contact

What about boredom?
- Learn to accept and enjoy being bored
- Contemplate and get deep in thought, 
- No reading about current events or looking at stock tickers
