Deploy to `gh-pages` from a `dist` folder on the master branch. Useful for use with [yeoman](http://yeoman.io).

Deploying a subfolder to GitHub Pages

Sometimes you want to have a subdirectory on the master branch be the root directory of a repository’s gh-pages branch. This is useful for things like sites developed with Yeoman, or if you have a Jekyll site contained in the master branch alongside the rest of your code.

For the sake of this example, let’s pretend the subfolder containing your site is named dist.

Step 1

Remove the dist directory from the project’s .gitignore file (it’s ignored by default by Yeoman).

I fixed UISearchDisplayController for iOS 7. So. Much. Pain.
static UIView *PSPDFViewWithSuffix(UIView *view, NSString *classNameSuffix) {
if (!view || classNameSuffix.length == 0) return nil;
UIView *theView = nil;
for (__unsafe_unretained UIView *subview in view.subviews) {
if ([NSStringFromClass(subview.class) hasSuffix:classNameSuffix]) {
return subview;
}else {
if ((theView = PSPDFViewWithSuffix(subview, classNameSuffix))) break;
}

Simple sliding transitioning for navigation controller mimics pre iOS7 push/pop animations.All you need, is simply set delegate for you navigation controller: self.navigationController.delegate = self.navigationTransitioningDelegate;NavigationController does not retain delegate, so you should hold it. Note: this code is free (http://unlicense.org)

Apply color formatting to NSLog statements on the Console
// How to apply color formatting to your log statements:
//
// To set the foreground color:
// Insert the ESCAPE_SEQ into your string, followed by "fg124,12,255;" where r=124, g=12, b=255.
//
// To set the background color:
// Insert the ESCAPE_SEQ into your string, followed by "bg12,24,36;" where r=12, g=24, b=36.
//
// To reset the foreground color (to default value):
// Insert the ESCAPE_SEQ into your string, followed by "fg;"

My OSX PF config for #30C3.

My OS X “VPN only” Setup For #30C3

You should never let passwords or private data be transmitted over an untrusted network (your neighbor’s, the one at Starbucks or the company) anyway, but on a hacker congress like the #30C3, this rule is almost vital.

Hackers get bored easily, and when they’re bored, they’re starting to look for things to play with. And a network with several thousand connected users is certainly an interesting thing to play with. Some of them might start intercepting the data on the network or do other nasty things with the packets that they can get.

If these packets are encrypted, messing with them is much harder (but not impossible! – see the end of this article). So you want your packets to be always encrypted. And the best way to do that is by using a VPN.
