Project: GameTime - Wheel of Fortune
Group Member Names: Heather and Paul
Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):
- Understanding of oop principles: classes
- Using array prototypes within the project
- Have the project be fully functional and playable
Team strengths & collaboration styles:
- Paul has seen some of the project before during last inning. I have a good understanding of array prototypes. My colloboration style is usually 50/50 in person or using github.
- Heather has a good understanding of CSS, html, and understanding of classes with JS.
How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:
- Be honest when we are stuck on something and need to ask for help or pair with upper mods.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
- Available to work on the project during work time during school and after school. We plan to split things up on Friday and work on individual branches and contributions over the weekend and come together on Sunday to review what we've done.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):
- Open to communicate in person during work time and at home via slack. We will use a retro log at the end of the work sessions to write down where we are at and what we want to complete the next day.
Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
- Paul would like to be more comfortable using classes and oop principles
- Heather would like to be more comfortable with array prototypes and oop
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):
- We would both like to work on the testing of the project
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
- We will use github issues for our workflow and user stories. This will allow us to see what has been worked on and what needs to be worked on.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
- feedback on PRs using the lesson given by Brittany
- In person feedback
Project management tools we will use:
- Github issues
