 signing up 


 go to https://ridibooks.com/ and click on the 희원가입 button on the top right (it'll be the blue button).
 on the next screen, click on the blue botton called 일반희원가입.
 you will be taken to the sign-up screen after and you can use google translate on the page to figure out what you need to enter! make sure the name you use here is the name on your official ID if you want access to adult webtoons.

 age verification 

for foreign age verification, you'll need to submit an official ID (a government issued driver's license or passport would work) and ask them to manually verify you through the customer service page.
three things here:

 sign up for a ridibooks account 
 make sure the name you signed up with matches the name in your ID 
 your ID needs to show that you are at least 20 yrs old 

STEP 1: go to the customer service page. click on the 문의하기 (aka "Contact") button on the top right. it'll take you to a page with 5 buttons - you want to click the 1st one called "리디복수 문의" (aka "Contact Ridibooks") which will take you to a contact form.
STEP 2: fill in form
 
 the first field in the contact form is for the subject. you can just copy paste this into that: "해외 거주자 성인인증 요청" (this basically means requesting adult verification for overseas resident). 
 the second field is for the description. tbh you can just leave this blank b/c the subject gets across the point of this inquiry. 
 third field is your preferred method of communication - choose the 1st option which is email! 
 fourth field is what kind of question you are submitting - choose the very last option which is basically the "other" category. 
 last field is where you attach your ID (the only things they need to see on your id are your name, birthday, expiration date and what country/organization issued it. you can add black boxes to block out everything else - i personally just used pieces of paper to hide my image and other stuff.) 
 
and then submit!!


you can check if you've been approved by going back to the customer service page to see their reply. however you can usually tell if you've been verified when you go onto the site and all the covers for the 19+ locked webtoons started showing up.


ridibooks also recommends logging in and out after you've been verified to make all the 19+ webtoons unlock fully (so if some time has passed since you submitted and you can't see the adult webtoons, try logging in/out first).
 getting ridicash to buy webtoons 

you will need either a paypal or a foreign credit card for this.
after logging in, you'll see a button on the top right with a coin symbol in it. click on that.
choose the amount you want (remember you're paying in korean won!) and then at the bottom, choose payment method.
for payment methods:

 if you have a foreign credit card, choose: 해외 발행 신용카드
