  • UI is nice and simple and works good
  • no Android or iOS apps yet, but will be published very soon

Pikareader

  • No folders or labels -- good luck organizing 50+ feeds
  • UI doesn't work on mobile web browser

The Old Reader

  • No favorites or read later. But has folders. Similar to Google Reader UI though.

The plus sides are:

  • Offers compact text-only + list-view, but no favorites (there are "saved stories" though)
  • Very social. Comments from other users integrated.
  • Intelligent discovery -- runs ML algorithms to track your behaviour and make recommendations
