Disable Transparent Huge Pages (THP)

  1. Create the disable-transparent-hugepages file at /etc/init.d/disable-transparent-hugepages with the following content:

  1. Make it executable.
sudo chmod 755 /etc/init.d/disable-transparent-hugepages
  1. Configure your operating system to run it on boot.
sudo update-rc.d disable-transparent-hugepages defaults
