# check the volumes
sudo pvs
# mount the right one
sudo mount /dev/mapper/mint--vg-root /mnt
sudo mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys/
sudo mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc/
sudo mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev/
sudo mount /dev/sda2 /mnt/boot
# confim
ls /mnt/boot/
# change into the volume
sudo chroot /mnt
# fix some things
...
# rebuild grub
sudo update-grub
