Hi there. Every browser has different default settings for css and html. They're not the same between browser developers. For instance, Chrome browser and Safari browser have different default settings for margins, default typeset, etc. So, when you want to design a website that works nice across different browsers, you "normalize" or "reset" first your CSS, so your design follows exactly how you intend it to be, no matter what browser the enduser is using. Of course, in practise you get sometimes some differences or inconsistencies, but with Normalize you minimize those differences and save you tons of work. Also, with Normalize you can fix some browser-specific bugs. Have a nice day...Ricardo.
