A collection of battery info for building simple electronic circuits using breadboards or small printed circuit boards. Depending on your level of experience.

Common Battery Info

Use with LEDs

Most standard LEDs have a nominal voltage of 3V, which is why you can run an LED using 1 CR2032 (coin) battery but you can't run an LED with a single AA/AAA battery.
