Feedback Farm Community Guidelines

Vetting

Members must be humans with real names. Proof of expertise can be any of:

  1. Github profile via OAuth
  2. Works for a tech company via work email
  3. LinkedIn profile via OAuth
  4. Writes elsewhere via manual verification

Rating

Writers are rated by editors on the quality of their submissions. Very early drafts will get lower ratings than more polished documents.

Editors are rated by writers on the quality and thoroughness of their feedback.

Both ratings would have to be manuall reviewed before being accepted until automated tools are developed.

There will probably be some correlation between the preflight check, quality of the writer and the quality of feedback it gets. Tit-for-tat might be quite common.

Submission priority

  1. Users with more points and better feedback are higher in the list. This will encourange putting in more effort in reviews to get faster response.
