Setting Group Expectations

Group Member Names:

  • Jhun
  • Charissa
  • Ryan
  1. When are group members available to work together? What hours can each group member work individually? Are there any personal time commitments that need to be discussed?
  • We able to work together for 2-3 hours after school on most days.
  • We will work individually for 2-3 hours when needed.
  • As a group, we want to work together initially, then work on specific parts of user stories individually.
  • Ryan may need to leave after school on some days, so we will focus on communication to drive the implementation of features.
  1. How will group members communicate? How often will communication happen, and how will open lines of communication be maintained?
  • Slack and waffle
  • We will communicate often!
  1. Which feature(s) does each group member want to work on? Which feature(s) does each group member not want to work on?
  • All of us want to work on authorization and authentication.
  1. What does each group member hope to get out of the project?
  • Juhn wants to learn more about rails and understand the errors better.
  • Ryan wants to get more experience with working on a team.
  • Charissa wants to get a better sense of working in a team.
  1. What is the agreed upon Git workflow? Who will review pull requests, and when? What project management tool will be used?
  • We are going to do a basic workflow of a branch for each type of functionality. Charissa will be reviewing the pull requests. We will be using waffle for project management tool.
  1. What is expected of group members when they run into problems implementing a feature?
  • We will use our communication tools to get in touch with each other and try to figure it out together. We will also use a lot of googling as well as mentor help if needed.
  1. How does each group member want feedback (both positive and constructive) to be delivered?
  • Being as transparent as possible.
  1. Is there anything else the group should know about personal work/communication styles?
  • No not at this time.
