The promotion is open to UK residents aged 16 and above, attending the GopherCon UK conference at The Brewery, London on 2 or 3 August 2018 (the “Conference”). Sainsbury’s colleagues and anyone professionally associated with the Conference may not enter.
To enter, simply complete a software engineering coding challenge at the Sainsbury’s Conference stand. All entries will be timed and the winner will be the person who correctly completes the coding challenge in the fastest time.
Only one entry per person. Multiple and illegible entries will be disqualified.
There is one prize of a Nintendo Switch Console. No games or accessories are included in the prize. The prize is as stated and may not be exchanged for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of greater or equal value.
The winner will be announced at the end of the Conference.
All entrants must provide contact information. This information will be held securely and used for the purposes of contacting the winner to allocate a prize. It may also be used to keep in touch with you about possible opportunities at Sainsbury’s. If you would prefer us not to contact you then please let us know.
The winner will be announced at the end of the Conference and contacted using the details provided on the entry form. The prize must be accepted within 14 days of notification. If the winner fails to claim the prize within 14 days then the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner chosen.
The prize will be delivered by courier or registered post to a UK address provided by the winner. A signature will be required on receipt.
The name (surname, initial and country) of the winner will be available by emailing us at rob.lowcock@sainsburys.co.uk within 30 days of the competition.
By entering the promotion, entrants accept these terms and conditions and agree their name will be published. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity without payment.
