**PROJECTS**

A web application to connect people by playing sports. From one on one
to groups activities, PickUp finds events nearby based off your location
using the Google Maps API. Primarily built using Ruby on Rails and
Javascript with PostgreSQL on the backend. jQuery and AJAX to make the
site dynamic and interactive.
As Team lead, I held the responsibility of:
- Ensured all team members collaborate closely by implementing a
process methodology like Kanban
- Set deadlines for features and interactive code reviews before
merging branches
- Arranged an activity outside of the project to grow as a team
culturally
- Encouraged team members to raise concerns when needed so we
consistently make improvements
- Lead daily stand-ups to regroup the team and discuss what we need to
work on
