How to move to a fork after cloning
So you've cloned somebody's repo from github, but now you want to fork it and contribute back. Never fear!
Technically, when you fork "origin" should be your fork and "upstream" should be the project you forked; however, if you're willing to break this convention then it's easy.
* Off the top of my head *
1. Fork their repo on Github
2. In your local, add a new remote to your fork; then fetch it, and push your changes up to it
git remote add my-fork git@github...my-fork.git

The only simple way to do SSH in Python today is to use subprocess + OpenSSH...
#!/usr/bin/python
# All SSH libraries for Python are junk (2011-10-13).
# Too low-level (libssh2), too buggy (paramiko), too complicated
# (both), too poor in features (no use of the agent, for instance)
# Here is the right solution today:
import subprocess
import sys
# Makefile template for a shared library in C
# https://www.topbug.net/blog/2019/10/28/makefile-template-for-a-shared-library-in-c-with-explanations/
CC = gcc # C compiler
CFLAGS = -fPIC -Wall -Wextra -O2 -g # C flags
LDFLAGS = -shared # linking flags
RM = rm -f # rm command
TARGET_LIB = libtarget.so # target lib
SRCS = main.c src1.c src2.c # source files

Using password-store with git repository synching

Password-store keeps your passwords (or any other sensitive information) saved in GnuPG encrypted files organized in ~/.password-store. For more information about GPG, consult the GNU Privacy Handbook.

Getting started

To get started, install pass and generate a keypair.

$ brew install pass
$ gpg --gen-key
$ gpg --list-keys
