"Html": "
The Art Menu, which is an online gallery that features local art, has added Highland Park High School graduate Nicole Potter to its roster of Dallas artists who produce works that are featured on the website.

Potter, a 2010 TCU graduate with an art history degree, creates paintings that are primarily large-scale, mixed media acrylic on canvas. Much of Potter's inspiration comes from vintage photography and advertisements in addition to an awareness of her surroundings. Her past work has been featured at Andelon Gallery and Diane Dunaway Gallery.

\"The visually exciting work of Nicole Potter is vibrant with color and energy,\" according to The Art Menu's website. \"Her layered, acrylic and photographic, mixed media pieces often incorporate a grid, or series of strong, gestural lines, that lend meaning to both city and landscape imagery. Her ability to organize these calligraphic gestures and medium delights the eyes and holds the viewer captive.\"

The Art Menu was started by University Park resident David Hobbs to help discover local creative talent and provide a platform that markets their art. The works created by Dallas artists that are showcased on the website are available for purchase in the form of limited edition reproductions.

\"Our website helps artists put their work out into the public eye,\" Hobbs said. \"People buy art because they relate to the piece and the story behind it. We want The Art Menu to be a platform for the artist to share his creativity and his authentic voice.\"

",

Sarasota is the perfect spot in Florida to do just that: Gulf coast, mid-state, total sunshine. This property stands out among the highest of the high end on 113-feet of shoreline at the tip of Harbor Drive: 1368 Harbor. A timeless contemporary design of 4484 square feet created by the previous owner/architect in 1992, you get walls of glass, raised Tahitian tongue-in-groove wooden ceilings, flagstone and wood floors, a knocked out kitchen with everything the gourmet chef needs, and separate spa baths in the oversized, elegant master suite. Four bedrooms, four and a half baths, one powder. Huge closets, too, though they won’t hold more than a teensy bikini or two. And talk about entertaining: large decks overlook a private pool area and covered entertainment area for 100-plus guests. They can step right onto your 50-foot yacht from the top class dock. Get ready to be the most popular person in Dallas: this home has a separate, self-contained guest house, four-car parking and tropical gardens on a .34 acre lot that will make you dream of Jungle Gardenia. Sigh. Only $3,950,000 US dollars…
",

It has been on the market for ten years. The auction will be conducted by a New York City-based house, Concierge Auctions, right here in the Lone Star State, AT Champ D’Or. Do not think this will be a circus: only qualified buyers will be allowed in the gates. I pride myself in giving you news before it is news, but the press release is not yet written, though Rubenstein Public Relations will be handling PR, and the website for Champ is under creation as we speak. So all I can tell you at this point is that you can see the property live on the Concierge site next Thursday. While you are at it, check out the other goodies Concierge has to offer, including one of my favorite of all ski spots, Spanish Peaks at Big Sky Montana. I cried when I heard that Spanish Peaks had filed Chapter 7, but Concierge is auctioning off some of the famed ski resort’s glorious residences. (Stay tune into SecondShelters.com soon for more on that bankruptcy, so sad.) Oh, Concierge is also auctioning a home at the venerable Yellowstone Club, too.
",
