    An ideal application will contain 3 things:

Information about you, including contact information, GitHub profile, etc.
Information about your selected project (or proposed project). This should be fairly detailed and include a timeline.
Information about other commitments that might affect your ability to work during the externship period. (exams, classes, holidays, other jobs, weddings, etc.) We can work around a lot of things, but it helps to know in advance.

Contact info (email, phone, etc.)
Time zone
Link to a resume (if you want)

Detailed description
Weekly timeline

Week 2: What do you plan to work on in the first week?
Week 3: What do you plan to work on in the first week?
And so on...


Other commitments


List of any things that might affect your ability to work this summer.

If you're applying to more than one organization, you can let us know which one you prefer in case of a tie.
