This document clarifies how user data and sensitive information is handled in the app.
The incoming audio is recorded using the device's microphone on the device and demodulated in real-time, without storing the recorded audio on the device or sending it to any third-party. Only after successful demodulation, the received data is displayed as text and the users can manipulate it as they wish. In addition, the app shows the volume of the recorded audio (using a simple progress bar) in order to prevent demodulation errors (due to low SNR or saturation).
