  • Julian Feliciano: Ambitious idea to build a more focused Google Docs with Markdown support and web socket based editing. It would give me the chance to really dive into node and hone my skills to a more professional level. I also have ideas that need to be released to the wild!' Node/OAuth

  • Taylor Moore: Work on personal project from Mod 3. 'I would probably take the code what we have and fix the bugs first. Then I would like to work on bringing in Google Music API and allowing users to create a playlist across platforms (Spotify and Google Music) to share and update. So if you update the playlist on your Spotify app, Tango Music will update the each playlists no matter what platform.' rails / Google Music API

  • July: "Wants to continue work on her NREL app. Passionate about it and the company. 'I would like to first wrap my NREL app in Ember. Depending on how things go with them next week, I would like to then either do it in React and compare, or do back-end enhancements (move to digital ocean, create chron job to update loads of data, add more features to time lapse map, possibly use python (+django?) with postgis).'" Ember/React/Digital Ocean

  • Nick Weiland Only has week 4: Wants to 'build a tour of persistence and frontend frameworks using IdeaBox. Here's the rough plan for the end result: Sinatra/Mongo/jQuery, React(jsx)/Firebase, Rails 5 API/Angular2(coffeescript)/Redis, Node/Ember/MySQL'

  • Adrienne Domingus: Building an API for the Washington Dept of Ed (since she's moving to Seattle) - wants to work with Rails and Swagger. Wants more experience learning to really work with APIs and best practices around that.

  • David Whitaker: Clean up, refactor and build out React and React Native front ends for his Mod 3 personal project - the app is currently being used by his friend so he's passionate about it - and he wants to have a portfolio piece that shows his ability to work with a framework and rails

  • Scott Firestone: Adding a React front end or just working to strongly refactor his UpTune project from Mod 3.

  • Adam Hundley: Working on a mobile friendly version of a React and Webpack game he and his partner (Nick Weiland) built for GameTime - will first work to make the game more web friendly from a browser then start React Native research and porting over
