This is a paragraph that includes links to Gist.io, and gist.github.com. I wonder if there is a javascript lib that would allow me to host my posts via github pages?

Maybe I should build one using this or this?

Yes, this does seem like a lightweight and simple solution that may compete with tumblr, but this does not allow enhanced media (like videos) to be shared. I'm not event sure if images are supported in markdown...
