DTR for Whats Cookin'

  1. How would you describe your preferred working style?
  • I prefer pair programming style. But for the times when paired programming doesn't make sense I would rather do a divide and conquer type and just explain the code to eachother.
  1. What strengths do you bring to a team?
  • Comminucation and clear goals
  1. How do you prefer to handle disagreements that come up? Trust me, they will come up!
  • Through communication and understanding.
  1. How do you communicate best? What tools do you need to communicate well with your teammates?
  • A slack call is what i prefer that way there is no miscommuncation through text
  1. How do you prefer to make decisions as a team?
  • To weigh everyones opinion and make sure everyone has input in any decision
  1. What do you need (resources, environment, communication) to do your best work?
  • I like a quiet enviroment so i can clear my head and focus on the task at hand
  1. What scheduling constraints do you have? What are your preferred work times outside of normal school hours?
  • I will make myself available anytime after school
  1. How do you prefer to receive feedback? How do you prefer to give feedback?
  • Just straight up person to person is my prefered method of feedback. There can be alot of lost intentions when sending messages on more delicate scenarios
  1. How do you want the group to solve problems when members run into blockers on the project?
  • I want us to take the time to try and solve it together and if not feasiable the best course of action would be to tackle it at a divide and conquer type workflow
  1. What are some potential life things that could affect your ability to focus, and what plan can you come up with to approach those moments?
  • For all the unsceen scenarios, communicatoin on when you can't attend a scheduled meet up would be the prefered method and we all know life is unpredicable so you must always try to understand the other person
  1. Quarantine is tough, so it’s important to make note of our mental/emotional state when working with others. How can we make space to check in on each other’s well being, in addition to the work that needs to be done?
  • To make sure we're taking POMs when needed and getting fresh air
