SSH between Mac OS X host and Virtual Box guest

On Mac OS (host):

Shutdown your VM and do:

VirtualBox > Settings > Network > Add (you will get vboxnet0)

On a terminal ifconfig will show you new interface vboxnet0

VM's Settings > System > check "Enable I/O APIC." VM's Settings > Network > Adapter 2 > host-only vboxnet0

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gpsd gpsd-client python-gps

Enable the serial interface and disable serial login shell with raspi-config then reboot. Confirm /dev/ttyS0 exists

$ ls -l /dev/serial*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 May 9 10:38 /dev/serial0 -&gt; ttyS0

MongoDB multiple instance upstart scripts: mongodb, mongod --configsvr and mongos
MongoDB upstart scripts for Ubuntu.
Run following commands after installing upstart scripts:
ln -s /lib/init/upstart-job /etc/init.d/mongoconf
ln -s /lib/init/upstart-job /etc/init.d/mongodb
ln -s /lib/init/upstart-job /etc/init.d/mongos
To start services use:

Keeping a fork up to date

1. Clone your fork:

git clone git@github.com:YOUR-USERNAME/YOUR-FORKED-REPO.git

2. Add remote from original repository in your forked repository:

cd into/cloned/fork-repo
git remote add upstream git://github.com/ORIGINAL-DEV-USERNAME/REPO-YOU-FORKED-FROM.git
git fetch upstream
