Installation guide for installing OSX 10.6.7 for BenQ S41

iAtkosS3

Download iAtkos S3v2
Restore iAtkos S3 image to USB
Install Chameleon into USB

Boot iAtkos S3 USB with -v -x
Chameleon RC5, GraphicsEnabler=Yes, RTCFix, USBBusFix, VoodooHDA, PS2, dont pick VoodooBattery

After installation, boot with -v -x (remember to connect USB mouse and keyboard)
After setting up, reboot

Download 10.8.7 combo update
1.Remove caches folder on library
2.Remove caches folder on system/library
3.Run Disk Utility and click Repaired disk permissions
4.Restart or reboot
5.Go to System Preferences and click Energy Saver
6.Drag two line cursor to never posision and unclick Put the hard disk bla..bla..and Allow power button bla..bla..
7.Go to applications/Utilitis and click Show-Hide Files app
8.Go to root mac HD Installations :
- Open Extra Folder
- Open Extensions Folder and remove or delete SleepEnabler.kext
9.BackUp IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext on Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
10.Install 10.6.7 UpdateCombo>wait to finish>Don't Restart or Reboot Computer
11.Copy IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext (U BackUp) to Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
12.Run Kext Utility>wait to finish>Restart or Reboot Computer

Download 10.6.8 combo update
2.After update 10.6.7 succes, remove or delete "caches folder" on library
3.Remove or delete "caches folder" on sytem/library
4.Run Disk Utility and click Repaired disk permissions
5.Restart or reboot
6.BackUp AppleACPIPlatform.kext & IOPCIFamily.kext on system/library/extensions folder
7.BackUp IOUSBFamily.kext & IOUSBMasstroageClass.kext on system/library/extensions folder
8.Run 10.6.8 ComboUpdate>wait to finish>Don't Restart or Reboot Computer
9.Copy AppleACPIPlatform.kext, IOPCIFamily.kext, IOUSBFamily.kext & IOUSBMasstroageClass.kext (U BackUp) to Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
10.Run Kext Utility>wait to finish>Restart or Reboot Compute

iTunes 11.4 broken?
1. Download iTunes 11.4 installation for Mac
2. Delete the following iTunes 11.4 components (they will be replaced when you install iTunes 11.3.1) by dragging them to the Trash:

    /Applications/iTunes.app
    /Library/Frameworks/iTunesLibrary.framework
    /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Library/MobileDevices.bun dle
    /System/Library/Extensions/AppleMobileDevice.kext
    /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AirTrafficHost.framework
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreFP.framework
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DeviceLink.framework
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/iTunesAccess.framework
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework

3. Some people have had trouble seeing the contents of the CoreTypes.bundle to get to the MobileDevices.bundle. You can access it this way:

    In the Finder, select Go To Folder under the Go To menu (or Shift+ Cmd+ G)
    Type in: /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Library/
    The MobileDevices.bundle will be displayed; drag it to the Trash.

4. Empty your Trash.
5. Reboot
6. Install iTunes 11.4 that been downloaded
