What are you doing well as a pair programmer and collaborator? Everyone said I was communicative (Except me). I guess I'm communicating well. Most people said I was collaborative. I feel like my contribution to projects is being capable and accountable. I guess communication is going well, too (Although I would say the majority of my group projects had poor communication).
-
How do you use your strengths as a team member? I work hard and I stay focused on the task. I do my best to ensure everyone knows what they are doing, and I try to have difficult conversations.
-
How would you like to continue to develop your strengths? I would like to more selectively apply my strengths. I think I'm focused to the point of seeming dismissive or cold. It would be helpful to be able to drop that at some points. I do wish I had received some feedback indicating people enjoyed spending time with me, so maybe dropping some of my 'hard' skills in favor of the soft ones could pay off.
-
What would you like to improve on as a teammate? I would like to be friendlier, more approachable, more enjoyable to be around. There's gotta be a way to do that and still be effective...
-
How would you like your teammates to see you? Confident. Capable. An asset.
-
Any other comments: My 3 unanimous blind spots: confident, focused and communicative. I don't see the first 2 as positives. I think they're polite ways of saying I'm disconnected and arrogant.
