FREENET PROJECT INC. CONTRIBUTOR LICENSE AGREEMENT ("Agreement")

Please read this agreement carefully before contributing to the Freenet Project Inc. By contributing, you are agreeing to become a party to this Agreement.

  1. Definitions
    a. "Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to an existing work, submitted by you to the Freenet Project Inc.
    b. "Project" refers to the Freenet Project Inc's initiatives hosted on GitHub.

  2. Copyright Transfer
    a. You hereby irrevocably transfer and assign to Freenet Project Inc., and agree to irrevocably transfer and assign to Freenet Project Inc., all right, title, and interest in and to your Contribution, including all copyrights and copyright applications and registrations relating to your Contribution. You also agree to execute any documents and take any other actions as may reasonably be necessary, or as Freenet Project Inc. may reasonably request, to effectuate the transfer and assignment of rights under this section.

  3. Moral Rights
    a. You waive and agree not to assert any "Moral Rights" or claims thereof against Freenet Project Inc. or any downstream users with respect to your Contribution.

  4. Representations and Warranties
    a. You represent that you are legally entitled to grant the above transfer and assignment. If your employer(s) has rights to intellectual property contained in your Contribution, you represent that you have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer.

  5. Disclaimer
    a. Your Contribution is provided "as-is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty regarding accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

  6. Governing Law
    a. This Agreement shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflicts of law principles thereof.

By contributing to the Freenet Project Inc., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
