DBCLS機能仕様書
SBM(SPARQL Builder Metadata)に従うデータとは特定のSPARQL EndPointのクロールを行い、得られたデータから
そのEndPointに存在しているクラスの種類やインスタンスの数である本システムは、ブラウザ上で与えられたSBMに従うデータの可視化を行うことで
SPARQL Endpoint内に存在するデータを俯瞰的に眺めることを目的としたWEBアプリケーションである。
本システムは以下の3つの機能から構成されている。
- 与えられたRDFデータを変換し、可視化用のモデルデータを作成する機能
- 作成したモデルデータを可視化するグラフ画面
- 作成したモデルデータをユーザーがアップロードし、グラフ画面として確認できるURLを生成するウェブアプリケーション
以下、1の機能をパーサ、２の機能をグラフ画面、3の機能をアップロード機能と呼ぶものとする。
これまでのシステムではRDFストアに存在するクラスの継承構造が作る階層や、クラスがRDFストア内で占める割合などを概観することは容易であったが
深い階層に存在するクラスは初期状態では表示されなかったり、表示はされていても登場するトリプルの数が割合少ないクラスはとても小さく表示されてしまうため
「ある特定のクラス探す」目的に使用することは困難であった。
上記の機能はその問題を解決するため実装した。
↑深い階層に位置するクラスも検索にヒットしたことで強調、ツールチップで情報が表示されている。
これまでのシステムでは、左ペインに表示するプロパティの目的語はクラスでないものは表示対象にしていなかった。
プロパティのとるリテラル値のデータタイプもそのプロパティを知る上で重要な情報であるため、表示対象とした。
差し当たり、SBMスキーマの述語から、#objectDatatypesの目的語にあたる内容を表示している。
↑プロパティ、dcterms:modifiedが目的語にリテラル値のxsd:dateを取ることが分かる。
これまでのシステムでは、継承構造のより深い位置でクラスを選択したとき、そのクラスの全体の中での位置を見失ってしまいやすいという問題があった。
それを解消するため、選択しているクラスから大元の親クラスまでを一度に確認できるツリー形式での表示切り替えを実装した。
どの親クラスを持ち、どの子クラスを持つかを一度に確認でき、この画面の中でもクラスを選択することもできる。
↑末端のクラスから大元のクラスまでのrdfs:subClassOf関係を見ることができる。
↑どのような親クラスを持ち、どのような子クラスを持つのか、を見ることができる。
一般のユーザーが自分で作成したデータをグラフ画面で見ることができるようになることを目的としてWEBアプリケーションを実装した。
データをアップロードすることでグラフ画面のURLを得ることができ、さらに第三者にURLを公開することができる。

アップロード機能に関連して一般ユーザーによるデータ作成のしやすさの向上を目的として
パーサのコマンドラインツールをPythonで広く使われているパッケージ管理ツールであるpipでインストールが行えるようにpypiに登録を行った。
ソースコードはオープンソース・ソフトウェアとして公開されており、パーサはpypiに登録されている。
