Dear Mr. Wheeler,
You're ruining the internet. I'm not dumb - I understand hwhy you would create "fast lanes" - the revolving door has let you in to the FCC - and you want to give handouts to your buddies in the television industry. Makes sense.
But of course you should be doing what's best for the public - not what's best for Comcast and Time Warner Cable. Don't you think they're filthy rich enough already?
You know that by creating these fast lanes smaller companies that can't afford to pay the "toll" won't be able to compete - thus you'll be helping big companies get bigger, and small companies go out of business.
Furthermore, President Obama vowed to never hire lobbyists, but he has. Thus, you shouldn't even be in your position. So does that make your decisions null and void?
President Obama also vowed to uphold net nuetrality. So you are going against the President's wishes. Of course the president hasn't upheld a lot of things he said he would do, but you could help him at least uphold this one.
Your decision to destroy net neutrality is not surprising given your background. What would be surprising is if you changed your mind, and supported net neutrality to make this country a better place for us all, not just for your rich buddies.
Sincerely, Scott Chamberlain Portland, OR
