AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner考試適合具備必要知識和技能，能有效證明自己全盤了解 AWS 雲端的人，與其他 AWS Certification 所代表的特定技術職務無關。
如果你對 AWS 有一定程度的瞭解的話，可以直接忽略掉這張而直接去考AWS Certified Solutions Architect、AWS Certified Developer等等。
這個考試是測試考生對AWS是否全盤了解，所以範圍幾乎是AWS全部。參考Which AWS certification is right for me? - A Cloud Guru這篇文章的定義(滿分：10分)
AWS Cloud Practitioner – Foundational Scope: 10 Depth: 2 Prerequisites: None Recommended Experience: 6 months of AWS and industry knowledge
而題目難度簡單，測試考生當碰到什麼問題或需求時，可以選用AWS的哪種服務，例如以下考題(出自：AWS官網上的範例問題)
Which AWS service would simplify migration of a database to AWS? A) AWS Storage Gateway B) AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) C) Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) D) Amazon AppStream 2.0

考題有兩種：單選題(四個選項選一個)和多選題(五個選項選二個)。考試內容另外也包含了使用AWS雲端的有什麼優點、AWS雲端架構的概念(Region, Availability zone, Edge等等)、AWS所提供的Security服務內容、AWS收費方式和支援等等。因為考試會隨著時間而有所更新，故考試內容請以AWS上的說明為準。
考試總分為1000，需要在700以上才算通過考試

由於 AWS Training 價格不算便宜，像是AWS Technical Essentials course是1天的課程，收費是11,340（含稅），所以個人就不考慮這種方式。
由於個人有一些AWS使用經驗，所以我是先把上述的白皮書的內容看過一次，接著使用Udemy線上課程，買了一些測試題庫和課程來複習，以下是我有使用的課程：

以上課程都是在特價的時候買的，一門課程的價錢在300～600之間，相當的便宜。
- 先到AWS註冊帳號
- 接著登入之後，先到My Profile的地方，確定你的姓名(使用護照上的英文名字)，這將會使用在你的證書上面
- 到首頁 Home，點下 Schedule New Exam
- 選擇你要考試的項目後(PSI 和 VUE是不同的報名方式，我是使用PSI，故以下用PSI當範例)，點擊Schedule with PSI
- 等待頁面轉跳到出現這個畫面，再點擊Schedule Exam
- 選擇考試的語言
- 按下Search Exam Center, 就會出現考場選則的畫面
- 選好考場和時間之後，就Continue進行付費
過程之中，我有碰到的問題是付費時要填寫billing street address，但這個欄位的長度有限制，最後我只填了"New Taipei, Taiwan"。
報完名後，考試當天要提前十五分鐘報到，像是09：30考試的話，09：15就要到考場。考場人員會需要確認你的身份，你需提供二張證件且其中一張要包含你的英文名字，我個人是使用身份證和信用卡（含英文名字）供他檢查。
確認完後，只會攜帶身份證進考場(中途上廁所回考場時使用)，其餘物品放置於考場置物箱。
在考場使用電腦作答，完成後按下exit exam，填完AWS exam feedback之後，就會馬上得到結果：PASS or Failed，詳細的成績需要數天之後才能在AWS網站查詢的到喔。
