Code is Not Math

Code is not Math

Equality is Weird

  • = does not mean “equals” it means “set a value”
  • == means “equal”
  • === also means “equal”

Programmers start counting at 0

  • var potatoes = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Clojure on Raspberry Pi with OS X

"Clojure running on Raspberry Pi" sounded so cool that I just had to give it a try.

Install JDK

  • Download ARM JDK from Oracle and instlal on Raspberry Pi
  • Change visudo to contain the following

#PidginScript ###or BrahScript

variable assignment => dakine example: dakine name stay "Jon"

NULL => sostay
= operator => stay

!= operator => not
