KEYCOOL keyboard.

KEYCOOL Keyboard

  • Compact 84 keys layout.
  • Cherry MX switches.
  • No backlight by default, but able to support DIY backlight.
  • Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) key caps.
  • Detachable 1.5 meter USB-C cable.
  • NKRO refers to N-key rollover. A keyboard with N-key rollover can register as many keys as you can press at once without "dropping" any characters. This means that no matter how fast you type, your keyboard will keep up.
  • 750 grams.

Bluetooth

Compatible with Windows 10, macOS 10.10 platforms and recent Linux distributions.

Incompatible with Windows XP, Win 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 platforms.

Connect with maximum of 3 devices.

PrtSc/ScrLk key will be flashing to indicate low battery.

Energy saving feature will automatically turn off the keyboard off after idle for 30 minutes.

Pairing Switch

  • Bluetooth switch does not exist at the bottom of the keyboard:

Press PrtSc/ScrLk key for 3 seconds to turn on/off the keyboard.

  • Bluetooth switch at the bottom of the keyboard.

Turn on the switch for Bluetooth.

Battery indicator under spacebar.

Paring Mode

Bluetooth indicators are 1/2/3 key.

The Bluetooth indicators keys will flash in pairing mode.

When paring, input the paring code with the keyboard and press Enter.

Press Fn key and 4 key to switch between Bluetooth mode and wired mode.

Paring Selection

Pair with 1 key.

While holding Fn key, press 1 key until it flashes quickly. Turn on the Bluetooth on your first device of your choice. Enter the code with keyboard.

Pair with 2 key.

Ensure Bluetooth is switched off on your first device of choice. While holding Fn key, press 2 key until it flashes quickly. Turn on the Bluetooth on your second device of your choice. Enter the code with keyboard.

Pair with 3 key.

Ensure Bluetooth is switched off on your first and second device of choice. While holding Fn key, press 3 key until it flashes quickly. Turn on the Bluetooth on your third device of your choice. Enter the code with keyboard.

At this stage, you have successfully paired of all three devices of your choice.

Change between the 3 paired devices by press holding Fn key and 1/2/3 key.

Reset

Press Esc + Left Ctrl + Left Delete/Insert + Right for 6 seconds.

These keys are the four keys located at the four corners of the keyboard.

Miscellaneous

Fn + Win = Enable / disable Windows key.

Fn + F1 = Open default file explorer.

Fn + F2 = Open default internet browser.

Fn + F3 = Open default calculator.

Fn + F4 = Open default media player.

Fn + F5 = Previous Media

Fn + F6 = Next Media

Fn + F7 = Pause / Play Media

Fn + F8 = Stop

Fn + F9 = Mute

Fn + F10 = Decrease Volume.

Fn + F11 = Increase Volume.

Fn + F12 = Enable / disable keyboard.

Backlight

Supports DIY backlight keyboard only.

Fn + Esc = Enable / disable keyboard LED lights.

Fn + Space = Pause / continue LED mode.

Fn + Pause = Switch LED modes.

Fn + / = Increase / decrease LED frequency.

Fn + / = Increase / decrease LED brightness.

Fn + PgUp for 3 seconds. = Record LED mode 1. While PageUp indicator flashing, start define LED mode 1. Press Fn + PageUp again to save.

Fn + PgDn for 3 seconds. = Record LED mode 2. While PageDn indicator flashing, start define LED mode 2. Press Fn + PageDn again to save.

Fn + End = Switch between LED mode 1 and LED mode 2.
