Overview

As a part of my GSoC 2018 programme, I worked on FOSSASIA's Loklak Search project which involved:

• Adding Voice Search Feature
• Adding News Feature
• Adding RSS and JSON feed
• Pushing new Tweets to the server with Push API
• Reimplementing sidebar and flowchart graph with new source of data
• Reimplementing trending hashtags section
• Fixing image loading
• Implementing Firebase
• Implementing Login & Signup through Firebase
• Updating project to Angular v6
• Improving results and UI
• Adding new Ngrx based components and Services
• Adding documentation
• Deployment on heroku

Part of my work also involved working on its backend side i.e. Loklak Server for:

• Adding new test case files to increase test coverage
• Fixing existing test cases and travis issues
• Adding documentation
• Deployment on heroku
