My Router Archer c50 eu v1

Downlaoded followinf two files

from factory firmware upgrade using factory-eu.bin

Uploaded factory-eu.bin in TP link upgrade UI. It brick the router :(

We need to downgrade the router to 150325 version.

Download the firmware from here https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/Archer_C50_v1_150325.zip .

Downgrade using tftp.

Setup tftp server using https://askubuntu.com/a/202548/101008

We need to wipe first 512 bytes **If we miss this then device is permenantly gone **.

cd /tftpboot && dd if=ArcherC50V1_tp_recovery.bin of=tplink.bin skip=1 bs=512

mv tplink.bin ArcherC50V1_tp_recovery.bin

Setup your computer to 192.168.0.66 (SubnetMask /24 = 255.255.255.0) and connect it to LAN1.

Start TFTP server and provide recovery file with it.

To activate TFTP Recovery press and hold WPS/Reset Button during powering (8 sec.) on until WPS LED turns on.

Now goto the TPLINK UI which has 150325 version.

Upload factory-eu.bin

Openwrt router is ready

Upload the sysupgrade to upgrade to latest openwrt firmware.

- You need to reboot the router after enabling the printer server in UI.
- Add the printer in Laptop. HP DesignJet 110 Foomatic/cdnj500 (recommended)
- chrome://devices Add printer in the laptop and select the network printer
- Open a doc and click share in andriod select print and select the printer.
- The laptop should be to route the content to the network printer
- dns over https
- wireguard server or client.
- Write lua or python script to do certain things.
- It has cron so enabling or disabling home devices using the router.
