Yeet Discord

Dru's Ultra Patented Super Weird Way to Fix Discord™ (currently, I only know how this works on Windows. If you're on a Mac and figure out a way to fix this, I'm sure some people would love to hear it! I imagine the Mac equivalent of what I posted here would work.)

PS: this may not work, but it'll definitely purge all files that Discord put on your computer.

Step one: Completely close out of the malfuntioning Discord client

Step two: Uninstall the malfuntioning Discord client in Programs and Features

Step three: Open File Explorer

Step four: Click the "Address Bar" looking thing, type %appdata%, and press Enter. You should now be in Appdata Roaming

Step five: Locate the malfuntioning Discord appdata folder (labeled: discord, discordptb, or discordcanary respectively) and right click delete it.

Step six: Press "Alt - Up Arrow" to go up to the regular appdata folder. You should now see three folders: Local, LocalLow, and Roaming. Enter the folder marked "Local."

Step seven: Locate the malfuntioning equivalent of the Discord folder you previously deleted (discord would be Discord, discordcanary is DiscordCanary, discordptb is DiscordPTB) and delete it.

Reinstall Discord and cross your fingers.

Discord should now be fully operational based on my experience. If this method worked for you, please feel free to updoot it so that I can feel good about myself!
