Applied AI Centre
Mission & Vision
Khazar University will establish an Applied Artificial Intelligence Centre dedicated to impactful, interdisciplinary AI research and innovation. The Centre’s mission is to advance AI research, education, and practical applications that address real societal and industry needs in Azerbaijan and beyond. Inspired by leading models like Stanford’s HAI (which seeks to “guide and develop human-centered AI to improve the human condition” ), Khazar’s AI Centre will emphasize human-centric and applied AI – ensuring that AI technologies are collaborative, augmentative, and enhance quality of life. The vision is to become a national hub for AI excellence, partnering with industry, government, and global academia to ensure AI solutions benefit society.
